Happy Thursday! The week is nearly over. You can make it! Please write independently while I take attendance. You may choose to write in response to the following prompt:

You and your best friend are at school early one morning when you notice that the name on the building isn't in English. The letters don't look familiar at all. You go into the building and notice there are no lights on. You hear a crash in the office and strange voices coming your way. Write a story about what happens next.

Today we will finally compare the article and memoir about Jack Thayer.
