Today we will begin our Authors as Mentors unit.  Our objective for today is - 

Understand how the basic parts of a story help a reader make sense of events.

We will be reading Eleven by Sandra Cisneros and doing some free writing.

Homework: Finish your All About Me and read for 30 minutes.
